Leading Design at Color Man Food

Color Man Food specializes in the distribution and trade of food and beverage products, including soy sauce, fish sauce, chili sauce, instant noodles, instant coffee, and more.

 

As the design team lead at Color Man Food, I oversaw the development of sub-brand identities and mentored a team of designers. My responsibilities included branding, packaging, social media content, and overall art direction.

Packaging
During my time at Color Man Food, my team and I designed packaging for over 60 products. As the team leader, I managed, supported, and provided creative direction for each design. Most of the work shown below was executed collaboratively by our in-house design team.

Brands

I was responsible for designing both online and offline marketing materials for sub-brands like Color Man Coffee & Choco and Color Man Foodmart. My focus was to ensure cohesive and consistent brand positioning across retail spaces and social media platforms.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Coffee & Choco introduced a takeaway coffee service. Our top priority was ensuring customer safety and convenience when ordering online. I led the redesign of the menu and packaging to better suit delivery services and enhance the overall customer experience.

Color Man Foodmart

Color Man Foodmart operated 11 stores across Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces in Vietnam. I managed and supervised print materials and promotional advertisements for the brand’s retail locations, ensuring consistent application of the brand’s tone and positioning.

Mamee Monster

Mamee Monster, a popular snack originally from Malaysia, was introduced to the Vietnamese market through Color Man Food’s distribution network. To support the launch, the marketing team organized event activations. We designed a range of POSM (Point-of-Sale Materials) and social media content to effectively promote these events and engage the target audience.
